Chocolate bars and blown spelt

Easter has passed and our children will have received the usual quintal of chocolate eggs… eliminating it all is an almost Titanic feat and then why not turn it into something else that can be used as a snack? Everyone in the House will benefit from it and it’s easier to dispose of our chocolate stocks. But let’s see how to accomplish this “magic”.


300 grams of chocolate
150 grams of spelt or puffed rice

We break into pieces and put in a bowl our chocolate and melt in a bain-marie. When it has become liquid, we add, little at a time, our cereals blown and stir well with the help of a spoon. When we have incorporated all the cereals, we transfer our mixture into a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and we press for good to compact the whole. Let cool in the air for 4-5 hours then Togliamolo from the mould and Tagliamolo to give the classic shape with bars.
