Chicken tortillas

Ok guys, there are friends who come to find us practically at dinner time to invite themselves… what to do then? No fear! We have prepared our wheat tortillas remember? Well, some vegetables, some chicken fillets and all at the table! In 10 ' We will bring to the table a mix Italo-Mexican not to be missed. Let's start the preparation.

Ingredients for 4 people:


12 Wheat tortillas
400 grams of chicken fillets
6 cluster tomatoes
2 green Peppers
1 red Tropea Onion
1 lettuce
Salt, pepper and turmeric to taste
Sauces to taste


We take our chicken fillets and spolveriamoli of salt, pepper and turmeric on both sides. Let's put a non-stick frying pan on the heat and heat it to medium flame. As soon as it is hot, let's take the chicken fillets over and cook 3 ' each side (the time depends mainly on the thickness of the slices). Meanwhile, dedicate to the vegetables. We wash and slice the peppers; We wash and we slice the tomatoes, we do the same with the onion and we put everything aside.

Tips for mise en place:

In a saucer we arrange two tortillas so that half of the first one is in contact with half the second so that they support each other and do not open the tortillas when we serve them. On each half we put a little ' lettuce, two slices of tomato, a few slices of pepper, 4-5 strips of chicken, a little ' onion and complete with a little ' sauce.
